August Prayer Update

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Our summer days are drifting closer to Autumn leaves. Chaos, catastrophe and looming calamity on a global level can be overwhelming, unless you know our Christ Jesus. Love Unveiled (LUV) continues to nurture women, discipling women in Faith who go on to disciple others; here, there and everywhere. Your prayers are coveted as LUV leaders continue to pour out themselves to bring Living Hope to the world. On behalf of Liz and LUV, thank you for praying!

August: Many groups are taking a break this month, but please pray for the weekly groups, workshops and special events taking place and for a new and fresh anointing over the work of the Spirit for them, and those taking time to rest and be refreshed. 

Praise Reports

• Praise the Lord for a time of family and respite for Liz last month in the UK.
• Praise the Lord for prayer answered when Liz visited Austria in June to test the waters for a potential new group for women in Europe.
• Praise for what the Lord is doing in Liberia, Africa, and the new open door in Ethiopia.
• Praise for a new group of 9 women in Orlando and 2 women who made a profession of faith in Jesus. 

PRAYER REQUESTS: 

• SPECIAL PRAYER FOR Martha in INDIA: Reports on increasing Christian persecution are rampant, in India where Martha has ministered faithfully with LUV since 2008. Pray physical and spiritual protection for Martha and her Butterflies. Pray for Martha for renewed courage to continue serving and teaching women. 
• Pray for Stacy in Franklin, NC who along with her team is hosting a Women’s Outreach Conference on August 15.
• Pray for Danielle on a mission in Rwanda this month where she will share the Butterfly Story with women. Pray the Lord will empower Danielle and give her opportunities to share this message of freedom, healing and hope with many women. 
• Pray for WEEKLY GROUPS continuing in the USA, UK, Switzerland, Greece, India, Japan, Brazil, Moldova, Mexico among others. Whether in-person or online, the Spirit is moving in our midst.
• Pray for Shelly’s Dad, 91-year-old Ray, who will have an 8hr heart bypass surgery this Thursday. Pray for his salvation, and the Lord fulfills his days. Pray PEACE for Shelly as she juggles care for her dad with work and ministry commitments.
• Pray for Shelly and Cathi as they continue their LUV workshops in Sanford, FL August 20-22.  Pray for anointing and the Lord to guide these women to a deeper faith and equip them to disciple others.
• Pray for UPCOMING SEPTEMBER EVENTS:
  • Pray for Olga & Nektaria in CYPRESS for the Monthly Zoom Group. May the Lord bless them and continue to keep transforming hearts and minds through His word. 
  • Pray for Shelly, leading Group 11/Workshop 5 in Orlando on September 11-14. May the Lord have His way, healing and bringing Hope among them.
  • Pray for Liz as she prepares this month to minister to women in Arizona in September, at “LIFT” – a women leaders event, and a LUV “Let’s Get Real” event, to introduce LUV in AZ, September 23-28. Pray for fresh anointing, discernment and strength. Pray hearts will be drawn to come to the events, taste and see, grow in hunger to know the Lord and be equipped to make disciples. 

LUV continues to impact women all around the world. Behind the scenes are logistics, operations, finances, hospitality, translations and all the details associated with never-ending ministry. Pray for practical needs to be met. Pray for Liz who is at the helm, with a core group of women who are steady and always ready to serve. Pray for the LUV Board as decisions are made that affect how the ministry operates.
