The Butterfly Effect Reaches the Canary Islands (Spain)
Dear friend,
Last month, we commissioned Marie Carmen, our dear French Butterfly as she completed her 3.5 year journey with Love Unveiled to minister to women at the deepest level of their hearts, and to multiply disciples in French speaking countries.
However, her first assignment after our last workshop in Orlando was not in her home country France, but in her native country of Spain where she was invited by a friend to lead a “Transformation” conference for more than 80 women from the Canary Islands, a large European Tourist destination off the coast of North Africa.
From Marie Carmen: “Thank you SO much for your prayers!! He answered with grace and power!!! We were a little more than 80 women coming from the various Islands, some from the peninsula (Spain) and even from Germany. It was moving to stand in front of all these ladies so eager to receive, to learn and to let the Holy Spirit transform them.
It was so nice to see hearts opening when they were listening about their new identity in Christ – not only hearing about our new identity but trusting God’s Word and deciding to own this new reality in Christ and to live as precious daughters of God Almighty, with all privileges it means.
The ladies were so glad to receive in their own language the booklet: “The Butterfly: A Story of Transformation”, and all the resources we have translated for that event. We watched together the very nice movie Magdalena. Several were crying realizing the tenderness of Jesus and how women have a huge value in His eyes.
Many women shared how they have been blessed, touched by God and really changed by this message of love, forgiveness and freedom in Jesus.
The Butterfly Effect has already started... One Church in Las Palmas has asked for a report about the conference. One of the conference organizers will soon go to this island to share with them a detailed summary of what they heard and learned. Tomorrow, the organization committee is gathering to decide the next steps and the follow up of the conference.
Please continue to PRAY for all these precious women and their genuine thirst of knowing God and of making Him known by others around them!
To address these women in Spanish was a big step of faith for me! All went well for the 4 plenary sessions, the various opportunities of interaction, times of prayers or to share… The Lord is faithful! I’m so thankful for this incredible opportunity He provided for me to serve Him in my father’s language, in my native country and also the opportunity to bless my Spanish sisters.
Marie Carmen is married to Francis, the director of Agape France, CRU’s ministry in Europe. Pray for Marie Carmen and Francis as they continue to lead and serve the Lord in France and other parts of the French speaking and now Spanish speaking world.
Multiplication through the Butterfly Effect continues in France next month, March 22-25 as Marie Carmen leads her first LUV Workshop for 12 women. Pray for these women are they come hungry and willing to be transformed, equipped and empowered to reach women in France.
We praise God for all He is doing and all He is going to do in Spain and in France as we partner with our sisters in Agape Europe! Please continue to pray God will do even greater things by His transforming power!!
