Love UnVeiled (LUV) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit ministry founded by Liz Dickson in 2007 when the Lord put a call and

vision in her heart to reach the world in our generation by reaching women – especially the broken hearted, those living in bondage and those desperately seeking freedom, refuge, love and hope Hebrews 6:17-20.

Love UnVeiled exists to unveil the love of God to women, and to share His healing and freedom through the divine exchange Jesus brings in Isaiah 61:1-4 and Luke 4:18-21.

Liz developed and authored The Butterfly Story and Transform & Multiply a 3.5-year leadership and discipleship curriculum for women comprised of 6 workbooks designed to help women grow in spiritual healing, freedom and identity in Christ, and to equip and empower them to disciple and mentor other women in their communities.

We do this by providing opportunities for women to heal and grow in spiritual maturity and intimacy with Jesus in a “safe” small group environment. We provide biblical teaching which helps women to be equipped, rooted and strengthened in their faith and allow the Holy Spirit to fill and empower them for multiplication.

Today LUV leaders are transforming, equipping and multiplying disciples in India, Asia, Europe, South America, Africa and USA. 

His Story (history) of Love UnVeiled and Spiritual multiplication through women.  

2007: Love UnVeiled is birthed. The Butterfly Story and Butterfly Effect begins. Liz begins to author The Butterfly Story and Transform & Multiply discipleship Curriculum.

2008: India 2008-2013 – Liz leads 3.5-year training with 4 groups of 12 women, in 3 cities in India. Since then, over 500 women have multiplied to reach women in at cities, brothels, slums and villages.  

  • Translations: LUV Materials translated into Marathi and Hindi.    

2010: SE Asia 2010-2013 – Liz leads 3.5-year training for 16 leaders S.E Asia, a closed country. Thousands of women (and many men) continue to be discipled in five unreached tribal groups under LUV Leader Thanh’s leadership.

  • Translations: LUV materials translated into several new languages for the closed country and tribal groups.

2011: North Carolina, USA (2011 – 2014) – Liz leads 12 leaders through 3-year training in Appalachian Mountains, area of highest abuse and poverty in the USA. Leaders continue to mentor and disciple women coming out of jail and in addiction recovery, and training mentors.

  • Cambodia: NC LUV leader takes LUV training to Cambodia. Her disciple starts a group with students.
  • Translations: LUV materials translated into Khmer.

2012: UK – LUV prayer group begins 3-year LUV discipleship in weekly group.

  • Liz receives mandate to “reach as many as possible in the next 5 years”

2013: Liz begins 3.5 years training in Orlando with 2 groups of women from Peru, Honduras, Poland, Russia, Nigeria, Kenya, and USA: Ohio, Indiana, Orlando.

  • Mongolia: Liz leads 3-day LUV workshop with Samaritan’s Purse team in Mongolia.  
  • Translations: LUV materials translated in Spanish, Polish, Russian.

2014: Orlando, FL, USA – LUV Training Center established in Avalon Park, Orlando. 

  • Orlando: LUV weekly groups begin for women in East Orlando. LUV Teens weekly group starts.     

2015: Orlando, FL, USA – Liz starts 2 new groups of 3.5-year training for women from Brazil, Moldova and USA.

  • Poland: LUV leaders start LUV Workshops in 2 cities in Poland, and 1 weekly group with Polish women in Indiana, USA.
  • Peru: LUV leader starts 3.5-year training with groups of pastors’ wives.
  • Russia: LUV leader starts small group for women rescued from trafficking.
  • Translations: Spanish and Polish Workbooks 1-3 complete. Russian in progress.

2016: Orlando, FL, USA – Liz starts new 3.5-year training for women from USA and France, in Orlando.

  • Orlando: Let’s Get Real Spring and Fall events start for LUV women to invite others to tase and see.
  • Orlando: 3 weekly LUV groups start in Avalon Park, East Orlando. 
  • Brazil: LUV leader starts first LUV workshop in Brazil.  
  • France: LUV leader starts first women’s conference sharing Butterfly Story in France.     
  • Translations: Butterfly Story translated in Romanian, Greek, Portuguese and French.

2017: Orlando, FL, USA – Liz starts new 3.5-year training for women in USA.   

  • Jail Ministry: LUV leaders begin LUV Jail ministry in S. Florida and Moldova.
  • Orlando: 7 LUV weekly groups start in East Orlando.
  • North Carolina: 2 LUV weekly groups start including Jail ministry.
  • Europe: Liz shares LUV Vision at Agape Europe (CRU) Women’s Conference in Madrid. Women then share Butterfly Story in Switzerland, Netherlands and Lithuania.

2017: 10-year Anniversary Global Butterfly Conference in Orlando with LUV leaders from 11 countries.

2018: Orlando, FL, USA – Liz starts 3.5-year training with women from Lithuania, Oregon, Minnesota, Indiana, Arizona, and Florida.

  • France: LUV leader leads Butterfly conference in Brittany, France and in Martinique. French Butterfly Story book shared by US ministry partner, in Haiti orphanage. 
  • S.E Asia: LUV leaders train 400 women in LUV Workbook 5, with Government permission.
  • Orlando: Two groups complete 3.5-year training in Orlando and are commissioned.
  • Translations: Work begins on Lithuanian.

2019: France – LUV leader shares Butterfly Story and Workbook 1 with 80 women in Canary Islands.

  • France: Begins 3.5-year training with 9 women in France.
  • Lithuania: LUV leader begins 3.5-year training with 12 women Lithuania.  
  • Brazil: LUV leader begins 3.5-year groups and weekly groups in Brazil and Costa Rica.
  • Orlando: LUV leader begins 3.5-year training with 8 women in New York.
  • Orlando: Liz starts 3.5-year training with 14 women from USA: Orlando, California, New York, N. Carolina, Kansas, originating from China, Philippines, Moldova, Germany, Puerto Rico.   
  • Orlando: 9 weekly groups start led by LUV Leaders in East Orlando.
  • Indiana: LUV leader starts weekly for women from Moldova.
  • North Carolina: LUV leaders begin weekly group for 9 women.
  • India: LUV leader begins 3.5-year training with 10 women and starts new weekly groups.
  • Europe: Liz starts 3.5-year training in Thessaloniki, Greece for 14 women from Greece, Malta, Portugal, Latvia, Spain, Lithuania, Cyprus, Switzerland.
  • Liz visits LUV groups in Moldova and Poland.

2020: Orlando, FL, USA – Liz starts 3.5-year training with 10 women from North Carolina, Missouri, Orlando, Mexico & Brazil.

  • Oregon: LUV leader starts a weekly group.
  • China: LUV leader in Brazil starts group online for women in China and Japan.
  • Japan: LUV leaders start online groups and 1:1 from Brazil and Orlando to Japan.

2021: East Orlando – 5 new LUV Weekly Groups start, led by various LUV leaders.

  • North Carolina: New weekly group starts.
  • Arizona: LUV leader begins 1:1 discipleship in AZ online.
  • North Orlando: LUV leaders start 3 ½ year training with 8 women.
  • Africa: LUV leader shares butterfly story in Togo, with Beautiful Feet Int. ministry.
  • East Orlando: New weekly group starts for Mending the Scarred ministry.
  • Brazil: LUV leader starts new online group with church leaders across Brazil.
  • Lithuania: LUV leader starts new group in 3.5-year training. Her disciples start 2 more groups.
  • Moldova: LUV groups in villages are revived after Covid, with new zeal.

2022: North Orlando – new weekly group begins.

  • Bithlo, East Orlando: new weekly group begins.
  • North Carolina: new group starts for Life Works mentors.
  • Alabama: LUV leader starts 3.5-year training with 5 women.
  • India: New group starts.
  • Lithuania: New groups in Lithuania start with LUV leader, and leader’s disciples also start groups.
  • Orlando: LUV leaders starts Chinese group with Chinese women in Orlando.
  • Middle East: LUV leader starts online weekly group with 2 women and receives support from LUV leader in India as well.    
  • Moldova: LUV leaders start 3-year training for leaders in Moldova.
  • Translations: Romanian completed and Japanese started.

2022:  LUV Global leaders 4-day conference in Orlando 

2023: Liz starts 3.5-year training with women from USA, China and Africa. 

  • Cyprus (Greece): LUV leader starts weekly group.  
  • Portugal: LUV leader starts weekly group for young moms.
  • Orlando: 3 new weekly groups start. Other weekly groups, ongoing.  
  • Online group: starts with Peru disciple leading Spanish students in USA.
  • New York: group finish 3 ½ year training and commissioning.
  • Florida Jail Volunteers: finish 3 ½ year training and commissioning.
  • Southeast Asia: Liz returns with LUV board member for 10-year anniversary, to lead final LUV Workshop in The Bride, a LUV Conference for 120 LUV Leaders.
  • Japan: LUV leader’s disciple starts group in Japan.
  • LUV Global Leaders Zoom: Liz starts monthly group meeting for alumni USA & International LUV leaders.
  • Translations: work begins on German and Ukrainian. Greek and Japanese in progress.

2024: Albania – Moldovan LUV leaders begin 3.5-year training with 10 leaders in Albania starting with Workshop One. Workshop two for previous disciples also begins.

  • East Orlando: 5 LUV weekly groups start, including Reflection Church.
  • Jacksonville: weekly group starts with LUV Leader (Mending the Scarred)
  • North Carolina: LUV weekly groups starts.
  • Arizona: LUV leader’s disciple starts discipleship with new believer.
  • Orlando: LUV leader starts 3.5-year training in Orlando for women from Texas, Arizona, Puerto Rico and Orlando
  • Lithuania: Liz visits LUV groups and leaders in Lithuania and speaks at Let’s Get Real event – new LUV groups started, including group for Ukraine women, and LUV retreat for mothers and daughters. 
  • Lithuania/Ukraine: LUV leader starts group for Ukraine refugee women in Lithuania.
  • Liberia, Africa: LUV leader starts online group with 7 women in Liberia.
  • India: LUV leader starts LUV groups online for youth, and a LUV group for women in Bengal India.
  • Panama: LUV leader starts training disciple in Panama who wants to disciple women in Chinese church.
  • Thailand: Thanh starts 3 churches in tribal groups using LUV discipleship.
  • Switzerland: LUV leader starts weekly group with 9 women.
  • S. Florida Jail Ministry: LUV leader starts 3.5 year training for 2 groups of volunteers.
  • Translations: German workbook 1 complete. Work begins on Chinese and Albanian.

 2025: Moldova – LUV leaders disciples start weekly group in villages for Ukraine and Moldovan women.

  • Another disciple starts LUV weekly group mentoring students in Moldova.
  • India: LUV leader starts LUV weekly group online for women in Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar and India.
  • Brazil/Indonesia: LUV leader starts 3.5-year training for 6 women in Brazil, including 2 missionaries to Indonesia.
  • Southeast Asia: LUV leader presents LUV vision casting to 250 women from 19 Asia-Pacific countries.
  • Philippines: LUV leader presents LUV vision casting to women from S.E Asia. 
  • Translations: work begins on Indonesian.  Workbook 2 complete in German and Workbook 1&2 Albanian.
  • Albania – Workshop 3 – women in the group have started new groups in Albania, one with students.  A new LUV workshop for Young Mothers is planned for Fall 2025.
