Love UnVeiled communicates God’s love and ability to transform the lives of women living in spiritual, physical and emotional bondage, using the unique example of the life cycle of the Butterfly.

Stage One: The Egg – The Birth

A small embryo develops inside the egg.  Each egg varies in size, shape, pattern or color carrying the certain characteristics of the species of butterfly. Once mature, the shell is pierced, and the caterpillar emerges from the egg.

“Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet for the nations – that’s what I had in mind for you.” (Jeremiah 1:5, The Message)

“Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are mine! (Isaiah 43:1, NKJV)

Love UnVeiled believes God has created each individual as a unique and valuable person.  Each of us is loved beyond measure to fulfill a purpose that exists only for us.  Our desire is to help women understand their identity in Christ and to live abundant lives in Him.

Stage Two: The Caterpillar – The Growth

This is a vital stage in the lifecycle of the butterfly and when its growth occurs.  During this stage, the caterpillar consumes large quantities of food. They are vulnerable to predators, and are camouflaged to blend in with their surrounding.

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.” (Psalm 139:13-15, NLT)

God is forming the potential of each woman for His own unique purpose, but many still remain in the seclusion of their personal pain not realizing God’s plan for them.  Love UnVeiled desires to help women break free of their life’s cocoon to become all God intended them to be.

Stage Three: The Transformation

An active caterpillar now becomes a pupa with no ability to move within the cocoon. Inside, nature’s greatest wonder of metamorphosis is taking place and the caterpillar breaks free.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he’s a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (II Corinthians 5:17, NKJV)

The path to freedom from bondage and oppression is found in God’s Word and is released through the love and power of Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit.  We demonstrate this in personal mentoring and small group Leadership and Discipleship training, teaching women God’s word and its practical application in their daily lives.   Through loving, listening, and studying God’s word, we lead women through the process of inner healing and spiritual transformation. We soon see God’s power releasing them to live their lives in the freedom and power that He has always intended for them.

Stage Four:  The Butterfly: The Miracle, the End, the Beginning

When the butterfly breaks free of the cocoon, it immediately begins expanding its wings flying to seek nourishment, drink nectar, and pollinate to create new beauty in the world.  It will, of course, have to brave the weather, unsettled environmental conditions, and be wary of its predators.  However, the newly emerged butterfly is ready to fly and to start the cycle from the very beginning.

Jesus, undeterred, went ahead and gave His charge: “God authorized and commanded Me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day, right up to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20, The Message)

Empowered by the Holy Spirit in freedom and joy, and equipped in the knowledge of their identity in Christ, women are ready to fulfill their purpose and spread the fragrance and love of Jesus to others living in bondage and oppression.
